Emily has been on the island of Sodor for a year now (Ed: It is set in season 8)
The other engines somehow felt attracted to her since she arrived; Especially Thomas

One evening, Thomas was arriving at the station by the beach. Percy was there.
“Look Thomas!” squeaked Percy “Emily’s coming!”
Thomas looked up and saw a beautiful green engine puffing towards him and Percy
Thomas thought Emily looked even more beautiful in the light of the sunset
Emily passed through the station.
“Hullo, My wee dears!” she whistled
“Evening…Emily” said Thomas with his mouth wide open in astonishment at the green beauty that just passed him.
Annie and Clarabel giggled. “It looks like somebody’s in love…” they giggled

Emily arrived at the carriage sheds for the night
Thomas arrived and shunted Annie and Clarabel into the sheds,
Thomas immediately went red when he saw Emily
Annie and Clarabel knew how he felt
“Hello Emily” he said cheerfully
His coaches tried not to laugh
“Hullo there, Thomas!” replied Emily in her Scottish accent “I’m just about to turn in for the night”
“So am I, can’t wait to talk with my friends”
He then noticed that she looked a bit sad…
“I’d better get going” he blew a cheery toot before he left

Later that night, Thomas awoke from his sleep.
Suddenly, he heard a voice; a beautiful singing voice came from the other side of the yards
Thomas thought it was the most beautiful voice he had ever heard

The next day, Thomas arrived at Knapford with Annie and Clarabel
Emily arrived and wasn’t feeling very well
“What’s the matter” asked Thomas
“My firebox is sore” replied Emily in a croaky voice (Ed: the steam engine equivalent of the throat in my opinion)
“Did you hear the singing last night?” Thomas asked
“Yes! I know who-“
“Whoever sang that song must be very beautiful” said Thomas and steamed away
Emily blushed secretly

That night, Thomas heard the singing again.
He saw the other engines were asleep and silently steamed out of the shed
He followed the source of the voice and it got louder and louder until he heard it was coming from inside the carriage sheds
He cautiously pushed the door open with his buffers and saw Emily wide awake
“Oh my word! Thomas, did my singing wake you? I’m so sorry!” she squealed hastily
“No, No, No!” Replied Thomas hastily “It was you that was singing?”
“I know, I’m terrible…” said Emily sadly
“I…I thought you were beautiful! Your voice is like a beautiful moonlit serenade” said Thomas
“Really? Thank You!” said Emily happily and buffered up to Thomas and kissed him
Thomas felt a thousand sensations going through him after that kiss
“At least someone appreciates me” said Emily
“You mean no one has ever heard you sing?” asked Thomas
“…No” said Emily
This gave Thomas an idea
“How about I set up a concert for you? Everyone can hear your beautiful voice!”
“Oh really?! Oh thank you! Thank You! Thank You!” squealed Emily happily

Thomas spoke to the fat controller, who agreed

The night before the concert, Thomas came to see Emily
“I wrote you a song you could sing at the concert” Said Thomas and gave her a piece of paper
Emily’s eyes darted across the paper from left to right and looked up at Thomas
“It’s…its beautiful” she said with tears in her eyes
“Are you O.K?” asked Thomas
“Yes… Don’t worry, they are happy tears” she sobbed happily
“Daisy’s agreed to do your make up before the concert”
“Brilliant!” said Emily happily

The night of the concert arrived
Thomas came to collect Emily from her shed
“Oh, Thomas; I’m getting wee butterflies in my boiler”
“You’ll be grand!” said Thomas cheerfully “Now let’s get you to Daisy so she can do your make up”

That night, everyone arrived at Sodor castle to see Emily perform
“I bet she’ll look smashing” said Gordon
Suddenly, the fat controller took the microphone at the station platform
“Testing, Testing” he boomed “Ladies, Gentlemen and Steam engines. I proudly present tonight’s special event! One of my newest additions to my railway has a talent of a beautiful voice! May I present Emily the Beautiful Engine!”
Emily steamed into the station with red lipstick, blue eye shadow, and a dark, emerald green bow on her funnel and a bunch of Roses attached to her buffer beam
The fat controller placed the microphone in front of Emily.
“Thank You! Thank You!” she said in her beautiful Scottish voice “This first song is to a very, close partner who stuck with me and never said give up… and that engine is Thomas!”
Everyone looked to Thomas
“You lucky dude!” whispered Percy
The crowd fell silent as Emily began her song…
“No one told me I was going to find you
Unexpected, what you did to my heart.
When I lost hope you were there to remind me
This is the start…

Life is a road, and I want to keep going.
Love is a river, I want to keep flowing.
Life is a road, now and forever.
Wonderful journey…
I’ll be there when the world stops turning.

The engines cheered and blew their whistles in happiness
“Thank You All! As well as myself, please give a hand or whistle for Thomas who never stopped believing in me!”
The engines blew their whistles again

That night, Emily returned to the carriage shed
Thomas arrived
“You looked stunning” he began
“Thank You!” said Emily
“Emily” Started Thomas “Since you arrived on Sodor, When I met you at Knapford, I was speechless at your beauty”
Emily blushed
“And I want to ask you this very important question…” he ran round to her line and buffered up to her
Emily blushed even more…
“…Will you stay with me forever?”
Emily was speechless
“Y-Y-Yes! I will stay with you!” Emily said finally
“Thank You Emily, You’ve just made me the happiest engine on Sodor!” he pushed her buffers deeper as he pressed his lips against hers; they soon shared a passionate, affectionate kiss…
Thomas pushed her deeper into the shed as they continued their kiss
They didn’t want their special love to ever end, let alone this special night…
